As you plan for your upcoming move, the distance will typically play a role in the cost of the moving services. Phoenix Movers will consider a local move as a move that is a short distance within the state of Phoenix.

Planning for your move will include deciding which moving services you will be requiring. Are you going to pack your items into boxes yourself, or would you like our professional crews to assist with the packing? Do you have any flat-screen TVs or specialty items that will need preparation for moving? Will you be needing any storage before your new residence is ready?

Standard Moving Service:

Our crews will pad wrap and protect your furniture, disassemble, and reassemble your beds and place the boxes and furniture into the appropriate rooms at your new residence.

How much does a local Phoenix move cost?

Local moving is priced differently than a cross-country, or long-distance move. A local move is priced based on an hourly rate for the men and hours needed to complete the job from pick up to delivery. The most accurate way to receive pricing is to schedule a virtual or in-home estimate appointment so that we can get an inventory of everything you are moving, check the access and put together an accurate written estimate. If you need additional moving services additional charges may apply.

The Move Process:

Step 1: Schedule a Free In-Home or Virtual Estimate Appointment (here)

This first step in the moving process is an important one. As professional Phoenix Movers, we want to visually see everything you are moving, check the access, and address any specialty items so we can provide accurate pricing and be prepared for moving day. Once your walk-through is complete, your estimator will provide you with a written estimate for your personalized move plan.

Step 2: Book Your Move

Review the estimate that was provided to you with your sales representative and mutually agree to the terms regarding all noted moving services. Be sure to ask questions if anything seems unclear.

Step 3: Move Planning

After your move has been booked, Sullivan Moving & Storage will put you in contact with your Move Coordinator, your single point of contact throughout your move. Your move coordinator will help you schedule and confirm the moving services, answer your questions, and be sure you are prepared for your moving day.

Step 4: Moving Day

Your coordinator will connect with you 24 hours before to confirm the crew’s arrival time for moving day. At the start of the day, you will meet with the movers to answer any questions and provide direction. Sit back and relax; we are here to help!
